Not to mention, they're just plain
sexy.

However, in a world of instant gratification, it's not so easy to
obtain the body of your dreams. The media is constantly attacking
you with thousands of lies, trying to send you messages about
what you should eat, when you should eat, and where you should
eat.

Stop with the nonsense! To sculpt the perfect six pack, you must
inform yourself on the best practices for creating that body.

Pop all the pills you want. Slap on the latest diet pill. Ride
the latest diet of the month.

It doesn't matter. If you are eating more than you're burning,
you will continue to gain body fat.

So, what's the key to long term permanent fat loss?

Proper nutrition and Increased Activity....

The first step to getting six pack abs is losing body fat. This
is the most important factor in developing sexy six-pack abs.
Your six pack will never shine through if it's covered with a
layer of fat. Some of the best cardio exercises for losing fat
are running, biking, jumping rope, aerobics, and climbing stairs.
Start doing any of these activities for 30 minutes at least 4-5
days a week and you will quickly start to see changes in your
physique.

To gain a sculpted six pack, you will also need to do some weight
lifting. Your weight lifting routine should be done about 3 days
per week. With more muscle, your metabolism will increase and
begin to burn more calories all day long, even while you're
sleeping.

The next step in sculpting your abs is to properly train them.
Many people make the mistake of overusing and abusing the crunch.
If you do nothing but floor crunches, your abs will never reach
their maximum potential.

You should do a variety of different

ab exercises [http://www.healthyeveryday.com/nutrition/Ab-Exercises.shtml] as well as lower back exercises.

Some of the best abdominal exercises include:

crunches of various types
weighted crunches
twisting crunch
kneeling cable rope crunch
side crunch
reverse crunch
reverse crunch on an incline slant board
hip lift hanging knee-ups
hanging leg raises
plank
side-plank
Janda Sit Ups
Ab Wheel
Bicycle Crunch

The stability ball is also a great exercise tool for sculpting
great abs. It allows you to call on a wide variety of additional
muscles. This is due to all of the stabilizer muscles that have
to kick in. You also get an extra 15 degrees in range of motion
doing crunches on a stability ball. Here are some good ab
exercises that can be done using the stability ball:

stability ball crunches

stability ball side crunches

stability ball reverse crunches

By incorporating a variety of exercises, you will hit all of the
different abdominal

muscles, including the upper abs, lower abs, obliques, transverse
abdominis, and lower back. However, keep in mind that there are
a few guidelines you should follow when working your abs.

Work your abs about 3 days a week. Like any other muscle in your
body, your abdominals grow while they are at rest. Working them
everyday doesn't give them a chance to grow and get strong.
Proper rest is very important to develop strong muscles.

Pick different exercises every workout. There are literally
hundreds of different ab exercises, allowing you to target all of
the different abdominal muscles as well as the supporting muscles
of the lower back and transverse abdominis. By adding variety to
your ab workouts, your abs will continue to grow after each
workout. Do the same ol' workout every time and you will soon hit
a plateau because the body is built to adapt.

Do your workouts in sets of 10 to 15 repetitions. Focus on
quality rather than quantity.

Make every movement count and take it slow. This is the best way
to chisel those abs.

There is no quick fix. There is no secret. But with steady
dedication, you will soon be on your way to rock-hard abs.

To find out more info go to: www.howtosculptabs.cjb.net

Get Ripped - Secrets of Sculpted Abs

By Vivian Quinn

Did you know that all force generated by your upper and lower body muscles, either originates, is stabilized by, or is transferred through the trunk and lower torso? The body's center of gravity, can be thought of as an imaginary point around which your weight is distributed evenly. Your center of gravity is located in the lower torso area as well.

The greatest cause of mind-boggling frustration when it comes to obtaining the perfect abs, is misinformation and unrealistic expectations, and this could be very well what is keeping you from achieving your goals in obtaining a sculpted six-pack.

People still cling to old fashion and improper techniques to get their desired washboard stomach. So in this article we will sort through all those myths surrounding your abdominal muscles, and get you on the road to developing the sculpted perfect set of abs that will wow others, whether you're a man or a woman.

One of the biggest myths about abdominal exercises, is that they will remove the fat of your midsection. Fact is that spot reducing doesn't really work, basically because the body dumps excess weight systematically and holistically, not one part of the body at a time. So you will first need to remove excess fat on your stomach in order to see your abs defined, and the only way you'll be able to do this is by reducing your calorie intake and adding proper cardiovascular exercise your routine.

Even if you do thousands of sit-ups every day, the end result will be that you will get sore. Sure you'll develop muscles, but they will be hidden under your belly fat. However if you do 30 minutes of cardio, you can easily burn 300 to 500 calories and get rid of the fat that it's hiding your stomach muscles.

Another popular myth is that you can eat all sorts of junk food, as long as you do abdominal exercises. Basically what makes us fat is the total amount of calories eaten within a given period, so if the number of calories you intake is greater than the number of calories you are burning, those extra calories will make themselves known in the form of fat. It doesn't really matter how many abdominal exercises and crunches you do you won't burn these extra calories without proper cardio.

Another common myth some believe is they should not do any abdominal exercises until get their ideal body weight. In reality you should follow a weight resistance regimen, that includes ab exercises in order to reach your ideal body weight. You can't only diet and expect to have the body of your dreams. Working out each body part will increase your muscle mass and raise your metabolic rate,

Some people mistakenly believe that you have to train your abdominal muscles every day if you want a six-pack. Abdominal muscle training can be overdone, just as training for any other part of the body. Any time you exercise muscles, their tissue breaks down, consequently you need to give those muscle enough rest and recuperation in order to regenerate. If you choose to train your abdominal muscles every day, you're over-training will result in diminished gains, excessive soreness and minimal results. You may also get a bad case of diarrhea.

The other big myth you often hear about abdominal exercises is that you will have to do a lot of reps while training. Abdominal muscles are not physiologically different from any other muscle. So excess of reps will not increase the efficiency of your workout. More is not better when it comes to training, your body and your abdominal muscles need proper rest, or you will be over-training and your workouts will be counter-productive.

Sometimes you hear a man and woman should train their abs differently. That idea is absolutely wrong. As a woman your muscles are the same as a man's muscles. They are trained the same way, by using resistance. So as a woman, if you want to build a lean, sexy midriff, then you will have to eat correctly, follow a cardiovascular program, and train your abs using the same exercises a man would. When it comes to abdominal exercises we do not separate the crunch for a woman and a man.

Another myth regarding abdominal exercises is that it will take years to develop perfect abs, so why bother. The answer is that no it won't. Everyone has abdominals, and with the right plan to reduce fat, you can see them. How fast people achieve a six-pack is based on a few things. The primary component is how much fat is currently surrounding your abdominal muscles. If you're 200 pounds overweight it will take longer to develop your abs, but it can be surely done. Obviously if you have less body fat around your abs, then your results come faster.

The most critical thing in developing your abs is following an effective ab training program, eat correctly, and following a good cardiovascular program, along with weight training. When it comes to getting a sculpted six-pack, you need to stay on track and remain consistent, not miss workouts or make up rules to skip exercises along the way. If you keep to the program you will see results.

To find out more info go to: www.howtosculptabs.cjb.net

3 Exercises to Get Perfect Abs Fast

By John Davenport

How to get perfect abs? I get asked that question often. The answer is of course a combination of proper diet and killer fat burning exercises.

The perfect abs exercise does 1 of 2 things if not both of them: it cuts down on body fat and belly flab, it develops the abs muscles quickly. The regular sit up isn't a good abs exercise since it doesn't burn a lot of fat and it hardly influences the abs muscles.

However, it's easy to come up with some exercises to make up a perfect abs workout which you can even do at home with almost no fitness equipment. This article will describe 3 exercises to get great abs fast:

1. Jumping rope - Don't laugh because this children's play is one of the most awesome exercises there is to be found to develop upper body muscles, improve cardiovascular ability, and cut down on body fat. When you jump rope your stomach muscles are always contracted, so this also develops the belly muscles.

2. The weighted sit up - One way to make a sit up much more effective is to do it with weights. You can either hold a weight behind your neck or press it to your chest when your doing the sit up. Make sure you're using a weight which still allows you freedom of movement, and also make sure that you don't strain your neck but keep it straight at all times. This will develop your abdominal muscles very quickly.

3. The knees to chest jump - Jumping and bringing your knees to your chest has 2 advantages which make it a perfect abs exercise: it burns a lot of calories, especially if you do it quickly and by bringing your knees to your chest your crunching down on your stomach muscles working them as well. You're basically killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Now, if you're not fit enough to bring your knees close to your chest you can still do this exercise and try to do the best that you can. With time you'll improve.

Do these 3 exercises to create a perfect abs workout for you to do at home.

To find out more info go to: www.howtosculptabs.cjb.net

Flat Stomach Workouts For the Perfect Abs

By Tony Gates

Tired of spending hours everyday trying to get that perfect abs? Or simply just want to maintain your healthy and sexy figure? Get up and start these three easy flat stomach workouts - the secrets to firm and perfectly toned abs.

Basically your abdomen muscles are divided into oblique, upper abs and the lower abs. Each section has appropriate exercise to effectively eliminate abdominal fats and retain its smooth muscle.

One perfect home workout for the external and internal oblique or the love handle is the cross crunch. On a mat, lie down on your back and set your left knee on a rest while the right on a bent to create a 90-degree angle with the flat surface. Raise the left leg and position it with your ankle on top of the right knee. Lace your hands together behind your head and do cross crunches by tightening the abdomen while keeping the lower back at rest on the mat. Lift off the floor by taking a shift from the right to the left elbow, which should still be touching the floor. The shoulder and the right arm are in a twist to bring the elbow close to the left knee as possible. Put your body back into its original position gradually.

Another basic home abs exercise which targets the upper abdominal muscle is the basic crunch. This is done by lying on your back and having your knees bent with feet resting on the floor. The hands should be positioned at the back of your ears; and the lower back should stay flat on the floor as your shoulders curl forward. Gently lift your head, shoulders and upper back. Breathe in as the stomach abs is tensed and breathe out as you lift.

Considering rectus abdomens as one long muscle, reverse crunch may work not just for the lower abs but also for the upper stomach. As you lie on the floor, set your hands flat at each side of your body. Pull up your knees reaching the chest to create a 90-degree bend. Keep your feet together or crossed as you curl your hips and stretch the legs up to the ceiling. Return to the original position and repeat the process for 12 to 16 times.

To find out more info go to: www.howtosculptabs.cjb.net

Ab Exercises – How to Sculpt Your Perfect Abs

By Tom Gifford

Have you ever tried doings lots of ab exercises, but did not get the fat loss benefit you wanted? If so, you are not the only one.

In this article, you are going to learn how doing lots of ab exercises will not…I repeat…will not guarantee that you get the toned sexy waistline that you are striving for.

Losing fat around the midsection by doing nothing but ab exercises is a near futile effort. Why is this? It seems like there are so many “ab exercise” miracle products out there that promise you will look like a movie star in only 20 minutes, 3 times per week. That is just an example, but you get the point.

Here are 5 killer tips for getting your abs into tip top shape.

1. Doing lots of exercises for your abs won’t make you lose fat.

This goes against the common thought that you need to do lots of ab exercises in order to lose fat. The truth is fat loss comes from a synergistic approach involving total body strength training, a certain type of cardio called interval training, and a diet that is conducive to reaching your goals.

Trying to only work your abs to lose fat is trying to “spot reduce.” Spot reduction refers to the effort of working the muscle underneath the fat you want to lose, hoping that will tone up that area. Unfortunately, this is not the case! If you are going to lose fat, you are going to lose fat in the same proportion all over your body. So if you want to get great abs and lose fat, shift your focus away from just ab exercises and more towards a holistic approach involving strength training, cardio, and diet.

2. Use Circuit Training.

Your abs are physiologically different than the other muscles in your body. For example, you might train your biceps by doing 3 sets of 10 of several different exercises while taking a minute to rest in between each set.

Let me tell you, every great ab exercise workout I have ever done has consisted of a series of exercises that systematically alternates different exercises for your upper, lower, and side abs, also called obliques. So when doing your ab exercises, don’t go for the “3 sets of 10 with a minute of rest” approach.

3. Use nutritional perfection for sexy abs.

If you just want to lose body fat in general, you can be a little more lax in your diet as opposed to if you wanted to really get a ripped six pack. Remember, doing the right ab exercises are only a fraction of the formula.

The most important thing is that you want to stay away from what I call “quick carbs.” There are carbs such as white flour, white rice, white bread, pasta, fruit juices, and other junks foods. These foods are very easy for your body to break down. Because they are easy to break down, they raise your blood sugar very high after you eat them. Then, your body releases more insulin to store this excess blood sugar as fat.

If you are going to consume these quick carbs, do it in the morning and in small quantities. At least that way your body has the whole day to burn it off. Don’t forget, doing lots of ab exercises isn’t going to do the trick all by itself!

A better approach would be to eat lots of protein, good fats, and complex carbs. Complex carbs are great because they actually require your body to use calories to digest them. For example, look at fiber. Fiber is a complex carb that is very hard for your body to break down during digestion. In fact, your body has to work so hard to break down foods like fiber that is needs to use extra energy during the process. Fiber also doesn’t cause your blood pressure to rise!

So in this article you have learned that ab exercises are great, but alone are not enough to get you that sexy toned waistline. You also learned that if you want to get a great workout from your ab exercises, circuit training is a great idea. Last, you saw the basis of how a nutrition plan works to lower your body fat.

So keep doing those ab exercises the right way, keep eating right, and be persistent!

To find out more info go to: www.howtosculptabs.cjb.net

How to Sculpt Your Abs

By John Davenport

Getting a flat stomach is hard enough, but if you really want to sculpt your abs to really bring them out, you'll need to take it one step further than simply getting down on a mat and doing crunches. The truth is that scultpting your abs requires you to get lean in a hurry. If you don't get your body fat percentage way down, you will never have the kind of abs that you dream of.

Getting leaner in a hurry requires you to do the kind of exercises that burn the most fat in the least amount of time. There are 2 kinds of workouts which can do that for you:

1. Cardio workouts - We all know what these mean: running, swimming, cycling, aerobics, rowing, and so on . However, it's the way you do cardio which determines how much fat you will lose, and this is crucial if you really want to sculpt your abs to their utmost beauty. The right way to do cardio is to do what is known as HIIT which stands for High Intensity Interval Training. This means changing the pace and intensity of your workouts every few minutes. Doing so will help you to burn more fat in less time.

2. The second thing you need to do to burn belly fat is to increase your muscle tissue. Muscle burns calories and fat. Remember that. So, if you increase your muscle mass, you burn more calories even while you sleep. It's that powerful. To increase muscle mass you need to do strength exercises. This is true for ladies as well. Don't neglect the dumbbells and weight section of your gym. Often, it can be more effective in the long term than cardio workouts.

The final thing you need to do in order to sculpt your abs is to watch what you eat. All of your workouts will not mean a thing if you don't take care not to stuff yourself silly. Watch what you eat, follow the workout tips I've stated above and you will see great results.

To find out more info go to: www.howtosculptabs.cjb.net

How to Sculpt the Perfect Six Pack

By Kim Roach

Strong Abs help prevent injury, strengthen your back, and
increase athletic performance.

Ab Exercises – How to Sculpt Your Perfect Abs

By Tom Gifford

Have you ever tried doings lots of ab exercises, but did not get the fat loss benefit you wanted? I am not a big fan of traditional sit-ups or crunches. These exercises tend to be hard on my back and I do not get the in-depth work out that should when I do old-fashioned sit-ups or crunches because my neck usually gets a better workout then my abdominal.

Ab exercise equipment is great to use as it will specifically target your abs and help to isolate the muscle groups such as the rectus abdominus (the flat muscle that runs the length of your abdomen) or the obliques which extend along the sides of your abdomen at an angle. This helps to make your workouts very specific. Performing ab exercises "freestyle" (or without equipment), it is too easy to cheat yourself or take subconscious shortcuts in your workout routine. For instance, it is very easy to lose form while doing crunches. It is also easy to rely on your arms and neck to pull your weight instead of your abdominal muscles. When you rely on your neck and arms to pull your weight you are not accomplishing anything for your abdominal muscles. The ab exercise equipment helps you position yourself comfortably and it helps you work on your target area.

Ab exercise equipment can also be a great motivator for some of us. It is much more appealing to work out on a machine than it is to work out on a floor. This additional motivation is the key to a consistent workout. Consistent workouts lead to results. Buying an ab exercise machine can give you a push in the right direction in your workout program. This alone is worth the purchase.

A couple pieces of exercise equipment that have been proven to provide the best ab exercises are surprisingly simple and economical to obtain. Two that I will mention here are the exercise ball and the ab roller. Exercises performed on the exercise ball not only are great at working your abdominal muscles but also increase core strength as well. If you own an exercise ball, you can also perform many other exercises for your body or simply use it as a chair and work on your core strength. With an ab roller, it makes it very easy to target only your abdominals. Ab rollers also usually have a cushioned headrest which reduces stress on your neck. You are building muscle while working out on the ab exercise machines and since muscle burns more calories, this is a good thing. Consistent workouts on the equipment lead to consistent calorie burning, which leads the loss of fat.

Some argue that ab exercise equipment does nothing to improve your workout. You may be able to achieve the same results with traditional abdominal exercises without any equipment. And for the few die-hard exercise gurus (who I admire greatly) that are focused and consistent, this may be true. For the other 90% of the population, the ab exercise equipment helps you do the exercises correctly. When shopping for ab equipment, you will find that many pieces of equipment also come with videos with specific workouts to do. These videos are usually very motivational and will provide the added incentive most of us need to get started. If you never get started, you never see results.

To find out more info go to: www.howtosculptabs.cjb.net

The Best Way to Sculpt Your Abs

By Jacquie Cattanach

There are so many choices for people looking for ab exercise equipment. It involves a strict diet of a juice mixture involving squeezed lemons or limes, cayenne pepper and maple syrup as well as taking a natural laxative to keep regularity which goes on for about ten days. It has been the rage of thousands of individuals nationwide who believe in the cleanse has literally changed their lives for the better.

Those who have tried the cleanse believe that super-detoxifies the body cleaning out years of unhealthy toxic build-up in the body. It resets the body and corrects the ph levels as wells as helps eliminate all the bodys addictions including food, alcohol and drug addictions such as smoking. Another result of this detox is that people generally lose a lot of weight, for example you often hear of people losing 20 lbs. within a week, which is not uncommon on this diet. Even famous singer Beyonce KNowles is an advocate of the Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet.

Is the master cleanse diet really safe? Skeptics believe that this diet does what the body should already to, detox itself. But those who advocate the master cleanse diet thoroughly believe that we live in a toxic society and that we become so contaminated over the years that our bodys were not meant to fight off these levels of pollutants from heavy metals to additives in foods. Many believe that the Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet is so important that it is extremely unhealthy not to experience it. Many have even claimed that they felt "Euphoric" towards the ending of their cleanse. They claimed that their bodies felt as they did during their youth.

The Master cleanse lemonade diet seems to have proven itself to the general public of its ability to detoxify the system, speed up the metabolism, regulate the body, create energy, fight addictions, learn about allergies, and lose weight fast. Those who have gone through the lemonade diet feel that it is completely safe and effective if done correctly. Which would be true for any diet that one may go through.

As they say, you are what you eat. More importantly become something that you don't want to be by something you ate, maybe this diet is your second chance. Only you can know what is best for you and the choices you make will ultimately shape your health, especially in the long term. The trick is to become a proffessional on you. That is what advocates believe is the primary foundation of the master cleanse, knowing who you are without toxicity.

Find information and resources on Master Cleanse Diet Weight Loss

Master Cleanse Secrets - How it Works

by Vitaly V

Master Cleanse secrets disclose how you can flush out years of waste in your body, turn back the clock on your skin and shed excess weight at the same time. Our health is wish a rampart pre-requisite to describe a picture. We are the designer of our own health. Either we keep existence insalubrious or remedy the price already done. Physical fitness is real vital. Fitness is a proportional term. A sprinter stooped hold a another level of fitness as compared to a medicine teacher. Thither are many More dimensions one can add to specify fitness. Contingent affect the needed stage of fitness, one stooped require allow steps.

More than 5 billion man live in this world. The body establishment of apiece one of us is different. The calories required for as person is different. There is no one park prescription for everyone in this world. Let us require few examples. The vitality stage required for a pro architect is another occasionally a cab driver. To dictate a laborer to snap a grain bar for breakfast is ridiculous. My dad's friend, a irons smoker spirit at the age of 83! Think me, I discovered him leadership a healthy life. I am not recommending you to fastball to know a healthy life. I try to effort family the detail there you stooped not get carried off by exciting data there is usable about you and go overboard to use in your day-to-day living also. There is serious to a healthy life.

While we cannot hold 5 billion suggestions for strong-arm fitness and healthy life, we can describe park inevitably for all of us. Whether you are an Olympian friend or an part clerk; a fame or a fuzz dresser, just 3 allow stairs hold to be interpreted by you. Seem at your feeding habit, strong-arm fitness use and use for the mind. You can figure encourage hit many bolts-on to reach honor in life.

We can use our park feel to take a healthy life. It doeskin not expect distinguished cognition almost skill or medication or strong-arm exercise. Result there to the specialists. We are all mindful there nutrient is real significant for sustenance. Our body is a mystic shop containing diverse machines. Food is its input. The car processes the nutrient and provides vitality to the body to do our day-to-day living activities. If the stimulus to the car is More than its content to process, evidently the car will fault down. If the character of stimulus to the car is not contributory to the structure of the machine, again the car will collapse. Apart occasionally the character and amount of intake, we stooped pay care to timing. Thither is a saying. I am certainly all of us recognize this. We stooped eat breakfast will a prince. In the later noon, we stooped eat luncheon will a king. In the night, we stooped eat repast will a beggar. The digesting force abiding the dark is real poor. Also there is no strong-arm action intricate in the dark once we sleep. So permit the bear t be one-half filled. Hold your dinner pair of hours ahead departure to bed. Once we awaken up in the morning, if we require a glaze of water, it helps for the body to hydrate to cook for the day's job. How we cannot begin our car hit 4th gear, the equal way we stooped think our body. Later 10 hrs of abandon bear once we fault the fast, we stooped begin hit elementary and well digestible food. Essentially we stooped begin hit beginning paraphernalia and travel on. In my view, to hold strong-arm fitness, 3 multiplication of uptake - morning, afternoon and dark is sufficient. Perhaps recreation 'tween luncheon and dinner can too be incorporated. The key driver is to conscientiously be the number timing of intake. This is a well formula for a healthy life.

Our bear is the source for all our ailments. Still the briny conclude for bad hint originates occasionally the bear only. If we do not require concern of our bear and sweep our dentition hit costliest tooth glue and washing our speak hit almost expensive flowing speak wash, the bad hint will not vanish. We stooped prevent our bear fairly by fetching allow quantity, character of nutrient in number timings. It is easier said more through but not impossible. You recognize who is the culprit? It is our tongue. If we pay listen to the taste, so we fortunately not be capable to hold the quantum. It doeskin not intend there we stooped not love the taste. In fact the knife contributes to a distinguished lot for healthy life. Once we love food, we find good. Feeling well is a signal of healthy life. If person asks you to require just park vegetables to hold strong-arm fitness, there is no dispute 'tween us and herbivores. But the joke is not to span the set of moderation. There wish be anticipate productive. Hold grandness to the sample but be careful. We stooped eat to know and not know to eat.

Many of us think there existence slender leads to a healthy life. One of my friendship is slender but has cholesterol. It is a untrue notion. The body construction of apiece one of us is different. An elephant stooped not try to turn a horse. Nature has re-created there way. Fairly is significant is to keep decent across weight or corpulent or nether weight. If the price is done, refer specializer to get support on track. Do not do any strong-arm fitness use fairly the right counseling of a strong-arm instruction expert. Sometimes you are the proficient of enlightened your own do's and don'ts. The beginning day once I day to teach Tai Chi, Taiwanese interpretation of Yoga, the overcome predicted me to revolve my cervix clockwise and counterclockwise as a fond up exercise. However I was before predicted by my orthopaedic sawbones not to revolve my cervix to retrieve occasionally a character of spondylities I had. Fairly was well for pestering did not case me. Thither wish be many such situations wherever we stooped use our wisdom. Especially we hold to be deliberate on strong-arm fitness exercise.

Life is a serial of experiences. If our experiences are well we say the living is good, differently we say the living is bad. Mind determines whether an feel is well or bad. Healthy living is achieved by the compounding of healthy body and healthy mind. Mind doeskin not be in our brain. Mind is a insidious subject manifests in our stellar body 'tween our person and strong-arm body. The nutrient we eat is reborn hit vitality by the stock and the top-quality particles of nutrient hit the insidious mind and so to however subtler intellect. While healthy nutrient decidedly supports for a healthy mind, however use to the mind is too real significant to hold a healthy life. Mind is not a gross thing that can be noticeable. Its existence is nowhere seen, and its degree cannot be measured in simple measuring scale. In popular practice mind is often considered as the synonym of thinking. Some might state this phrase as a state of private discussion with ourselves that we carry on inside our heads. It is a private area to which no one but the owner has right of entry.

However, body and mind are closely interconnected to each other and emotions play a big part in determining one's health status. In accordance with Ayurveda and Yoga, both mind and body are made up of five elements, i.e Panchabhutas of earth (prithvi), water (jal), fire (agni or tej), air (vayu) and ether or space (akash). The mind, one of subtlest parts of our being is composed of air and ether, the lightest elements. Stress and its negative effect on the immune system remains the major challenge to good health. Our immune system which is holistic in nature significantly gets affected by close associations with psychology, neurology, endocrinology, nutrition and the environment.

In the past few years, recent studies have shown that 70% of all physician visits are stress related and 40% of employee turnover is due to stress. Several researches had also shown that negative emotions suppress immune function. Constant stress depletes the body's resources, ability to adapt, coping functions are compromised and finally person gets ill. Once the mind is depressing, poisons are on the loose into the blood, which roots more sadness and lack of enthusiasm.

Studies conducted by the Institute of HeartMath (IHM) has also shown that negative emotions, stress, frustration cause disorder in the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and positive emotions of care, thought, and love creates harmony in the ANS, and directly increase the efficiency of the heart and boost the immune system. A comprehensive approach to maintain good health includes increasing self-responsibility for wellness and a positive mental attitude.

A strong and hearty mind is somewhat that we all wish for. Life is intended to be a positive, despite difficulties that come along. It can have recoil, desire and surprise, but our positive attitude and healthy approach towards life can change the way we accept things all around our life. A healthy mind results a healthy body and this makes life worth living. Two things, that simultaneously go together is good health and a sound mind. A healthy mind diminishes the tension hormones, conserve our mental state and put away them from the distressing effect of Alzheimer's disease. A positive mind anticipates happiness, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action.

Now attitude or thoughts can not be changed overnight, so as to turn the mind with positive thoughts you have to perform some mind exercise, like:

1. Constantly visualize constructive and beneficial situations. Make use of positive words in your conversation or daily dialogues.
2. Replace negative feelings with positive thinking. The replacing thought must be positive in every sense. Apart from being inspiring and assuring, it should also be suggestive.
3. Think positively; anticipate just positive results and situations, and surely conditions will adjust accordingly.
4. Reinforce good and healthy thoughts with emotions and images. Though this may take longer time in comparison to replacing a single positive thought, but this process is more effective and allows you to divide the desired target into workable units.

No matter what your age, exercising your brain may make the difference the way you actually perceive and learn from your life. Finally you should know that your mental state is what you think and as a result you feel what you want. So make up your mind with healthy thinking. Doing this daily exercise is a primary key to living a blissful and meaningful life.

For more healthy life style>>>>CLICK HERE!!

Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Singh_Vineet

Healthy Living: Return Maximal Benefits

The conception of healthy life has might-have-been detection on the health radars of live about the world. When is the time to enjoy your most preferred foods, treats etc. without being disappointed in yourself?

A few years back I went on a 1-week vacation with my family. This 7 day hiatus from and work and discipline was the perfect time to break my patterns of healthy eating and exercise.

I decided to really enjoy myself on this vacation and just completely relax - I mean all the way (Yes that means Cakes galore).

I had no problem adjusting to the overeating and lack of exercise. It was great fun - at least temporarily!! After following 7 days of this glutinous way of life, Cakes and candies and pies......

I went up a whole size of pants as well as packing on an additional 37 pounds. Moral of the story, don't do that. You can eat your favorite Cakes - just don't over do it.

As a personal trainer this is what I suggest for how to go about it the proper way.....

Make eating healthy eating and regular exercise the rule in your life.

As you know there are always exceptions to the rule no matter the subject matter - and yes this does include eating and exercise (Even Cakes)..

When you make healthy eating and exercise the rule, the occasional Cake or other exceptions are not a cause for vexation. Let me clarify that, if you make fitness your normal habit, the occasional outside pattern or desert or treat, such as a birthday cake, wedding cake or even a party cake, will not ruin your body.

As long as you return to the original plan, and not change it as you go.

A few desserts each week, even a few missed workout sessions will not damage you, as long as they are exceptions and not the norm.

On average you eat 28 times in a week - 5 meals a day.

The 10% exception rule (or about 3-4 meals a week) that are less than perfect are not going to harm you (in moderation)..

When you engage in an "exception meal", don't eat enough for the next 3 days worth, just eat the same amount of calories and portions of food as normal, except this time it's in the form of your favorite foods or Cakes.

When you choose a healthy lifestyle for yourself, you can indulge in the occasional treat without the guilt. That is your guide to eating Cake and staying fit.

For more details go to: <span style="font-weight: Muscle

Burn The Fat!

Hey, that's what we all want to do right?

This is actually a more correct definition of what it is we are really looking for when we say were going on a diet, isn't it?

We say we want to lose weight, but really want we want to do is lose the excess fat because it's that which we find unsightly.

I'm right here aren't I?

This could well be why the Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle program by Tom Venuto is the best selling program on the internet.

The focus of this program is natural and healthy ways to burn fat and in turn build more muscle.

It does this by tackling the issue from essentially 3 fronts:

Mind

Nutrition

Exercise

Now I'm a huge fan of the importance of tackling the issues of the mind in relation to weight loss.

I'm convinced this is the No 1 reason why the majority of "Diets" fail.

Tom's program considers and asks you to look at the reasons why you eat and the times when you eat for these can then become the indicators to the real reason why you have become overweight in the first place.

Once we are aware of these reasons we can then begin to reprogram our mind for more positively intentioned thoughts that will ultimately result in the achievement of our outcome of fat loss and muscle gain.

Next up Tom considers the importance of Nutrition and again personally I think that having a real understanding of nutrition and the part it plays in our lives is paramount to ultimate success.

He looks in depth and the main food groups and breaks them down to inform and educate you, providing a basic level of understanding from which you can build and move towards a more beneficial pattern of eating.

Then last but not least Tom looks at the element of exercise that is most definitely necessary if we are to be truly successful.

Now this suprises me, as Tom is first and foremost a Bodybuilder and has been for many years but unlike the majority of people in the fitness industry he has learned through years of study and experience that exercise is not the only way to burn fat and sees the importance of balancing it with the other two components mentioned above.

He really does come into his element here though and provides comprehensive and detailed workouts for both home and gym, again important as not everyone has the time, inclination or the finances to use the facilities of a gym.

His method of instruction also details the purpose of the exercise so that you understand exactly what it is going to do for you therefore providing motivation.

All in all I am convinced that Tom provides the most comprehensive program designed to help people from all walks of life and of all levels of fitness to achieve their health and fitness outcomes in a safe and sensible manner.

Check it out for yourself by clicking article and said out loud, “YES! Venuto is right! That little thing in your head – the hypothalamus – it IS the thing that is keeping you fat! By George, that Venuto guy isn’t a dumb bodybuilder after all – he’s been doing his research!” At which moment, I will be shaking my head and thinking, “you need to get out of the laboratory and into the real world, with real people, buddy.” Okay, okay, to be fair, Neuro-endocrine control of appetite and body fat really is quite fascinating. But today, I’m talking aboutPSYCH-ology, not PHYSI-ology. The little thing in your head that’s keeping you fat is actually just a….

Limiting belief!

Self-limiting beliefs are among the biggest problems that people deal with in their struggles to achieve a healthy ideal weight. They’re also one of the reasons that so many people start to falter or fall off the diet and exercise wagon as early as late January or early February in their New Year’s goal pursuits.

If you’re that science guy I spoke of and you’re about to bail because you’re thinking, “Here we go again… another psycho-babble, self help article,” then think again. A belief is the force behind the placebo effect, which is well known by every scientist and medical professional. A respected doctor gives a patient a pill and is told it’s a powerful drug. The patient gets well immediately, not knowing that the “miraculous” substance was a dummy pill. Inert. Sugar. The miracle was in the mind.

But beliefs are not only involved in the mind-body connection, they are unconscious programs that control your behavior. The most important factor in whether you achieve the body and the health you want is NOT what diet or training program you follow. It’s what makes you follow your diet and training program. And guess what? What you believe controls your behavior - whether you will stick with your program or sabotage it with cheating, bingeing or inconsistency.

What to do about limiting beliefs

Ok, so now you agree that beliefs are psychological factors that affect you physically by controlling your behavior, including your eating, exercising and lifestyle. See if you can find a “counter example” that disproves your belief. For example; if you think that after you’ve had 3 or 4 kids, it’s impossible to get a nice flat stomach, what will you say after I introduce you to a dozen of my clients and readers who had 3 or 4 kids and went from bulging belly to rock-hard flat stomach? If they did it, then how could your belief be valid? Answer: It WASN’T! You believed something false and inaccurate and it was holding you back!

(B) Challenge the source: Is it your belief, or have you been living what your parents, peers or culture handed down to you? Just the realization that a belief wasn’t yours to begin with is enough to shatter it.

(C) Challenge the usefulness of the belief: Ok, so you believed something when you were younger. Does still believing it has any usefulness today? Does it help you move closer to what you want in your life today? What will the pain be like? What will you miss? And what will these consequences be if you don’t change it NOW?

STEP 3: INSTALL A NEW BELIEF

Nature abhors a vacuum, as Spinoza once said. Write them down, then massage them into an affirmation. For example, if you’ve hung your hat on the belief that you didn’t have time to exercise, could you write a new affirmation of belief similar to this?

“I’m a very busy person, so that means I must set clear priorities and I must keep my health and body on the top of my priority list. I can do it too.”

Write down your new belief affirmations and read them, right along with your goals, every day.

Then “activate” this affirmation by doing what Olympic and professional athletes do: engaging in mental rehearsal. Visualize yourself carrying out the behaviors that this belief would generate. Think about and feel what it would be like to take those positive actions steps and play mental movies of how your life would change by doing so. Involve all your senses: see it, hear it, feel it.

Keep it up until you start to see your behavior change and your habitual actions come into alignment with your goals/intentions. If you’re diligent, you’ll see changes in attitude and behavior with 21-30 days. It may happen sooner. It may take longer if you’ve carried deep, lifelong limiting beliefs. But in less than a month, the roots of the new belief pattern will be formed.

Then you can update your goals and affirmations to reflect your current priorities and move on to the next goal you want to achieve or the next limiting belief you want to change. We all need direction in life and for that reason it is important to get focused.

I suggest going somewhere quiet, locking the door and settling down with a pen and pad, this will allow you to brainstorm without interruption.

Identify what it is that you really want to achieve, maybe it is weight loss, if that is the case it is important to ensure that you are specific with your goals.

Simply writing down 'to lose weight' will not work becuase subconsciously as soon as you lose 1 or 2lbs you have completed your goal and sabotage your real goal.

If you want to lose 14lbs then write that down, then put a time frame on it.

Goals need to be timed, your subconscious will know when you are able to achieve this by, let it guide you.

Now you have your goal and a time frame you need to work break it down into more manageable chunks (many small steps are much easier to achieve than huge ones) you are also less likely to become bored when you see yourself achieving these smaller steps.

Who or what do you need to help you achieve your goal, are these resources you already have or do you need to find them?

Perhaps you need to join a gym, hire a personal trainer, seek the advice of a dietician.

This may seem like a lot of work but believe me planning leads to success.

So, let's review:

You have a Goal and it's specific

You've set a time frame

You have chunked it down into smaller more manageable steps

You have examined the resources you need to support you.

What else is needed?

Remember in the previous post we looked at the benefits of achieving or changing a behaviour, you do then lets do the same here.

Why do you want to lose weight?
What will it change for you?

What will happen if you don't lose weight?
How will life be in 10 years if you continue on you current path?

Remember we do things for one of two reasons:

To Gain Pleasure or Avoid Pain.

We need to make sure the pain is more than we can accept and that the pleasure is something we can become really passionate and inspired by.

Get this right along with the previous steps and you will achieve your goal.

The last ingredient is accountability and more importantly public accountability.

What do I mean by this, we achieve much better results when we become acountable for our actions, by setting a goal you have made yourself accountable to you.

Now lets make you accountable to other people, friends, work colleagues, partners or if you are really determined post a video diary on You Tube for example.

For a good example of someone who has experienced massive results in this way check out Adam Waters who at the age of 33 and after 6 years of failed diets got himself into the best shape of his life.

Change Your Belief System Now

Now we know what beliefs are and how they can affect our decisions and ultimately change the course of our lives, lets look at how we can change them.

Why, well quite simply if you know that a certain belief has held you back or stopped you achieving something you really wanted why wouldn't you want to change it?

The first thing we need to identify is what it is that you aren't happy with or have tried to achieve but failed at, perhaps you have tried to lose weight or get fit before but every time you get close to the weight that you want to be you fall off the wagon so to speak and the weight just piles back on.....there's a good example of a belief that may be holding you back.

Once identified we then need to question why this happens, what goes through your mind at this point, how do you feel, what are you saying to yourself.

These questions will inevitably throw up a belief that you have developed over a period of time, perhaps that belief is "I don't deserve to be trim" this could have been as a result of name calling or the like when you were at school and because it was so frequent it became a belief so every time you get close to having the body you deserve it kicks in and says "hang on a minute, I'm fat and always will be, don't you remember?" this in turn causes you to abandon all your efforts and revert to what you think is type!

Remember this part..."What you THINK is type"

So, now we have identified the negative belief that is stopping us moving forward and achieving all the things we want, lets change it shall we.

How do we do that?

First we need to look at the cost to you of having this belief;

What has it cost you until now, in terms of career, relationships, happiness?

What has it cost your family and friends?

What will it cost you in the next 12 months if you continue to let it dictate your actions?

What will it cost you in the next 5, 10 even 20 years?

What will life be like if you continue along this same path?

Not good I'm guessing, this really hits home doesn't it?

Now let's get positive for a while.

What would you like to believe instead?

How would you like to react?

Now picture yourself they way you want to be, how does it feel?

Look around you what can you see, what is different, how does it smell use all of your senses and soak up the atmosphere around you when you have acted in the way you always wanted but have never been able to.

How has this changed your life, now then look ahead 5, 10 even 20 years.

How great is your life and the life of those around you?

I can tell you the first time that I went through this process it really blew my mind and I realised just how much I had missed out on by letting outdated beliefs run my life.

So, Now you know what it is going to cost you if you continue along the same path as you have been...do you want to make a change?

Right then lets see if we can find supporting evidence that will allow you to move forward.

You have identified what you want to feel or how you want to behave already now lets see if we can find evidence in other areas of your life that support those actions, thoughts or feelings.

You see you do have the things you want.

Just to make things a little more certain lets make it easy for you to feel good about yourself, at the moment what has to happen for you to feel happy?

I am guessing something fairly complex.

It doesn't have to be though, just think how often you could feel happy if all that had to happen was for someone to say hello to you or smile at you!

This technique can be used for anything at all.

Make it easy it to feel good spend a bit of time looking at your beliefs and then change them to support you and make your life fantastic.

Just what are beliefs then?

Beliefs - we all have then and without even being aware of it your beliefs could well be holding you back and stopping you from achieving the things you really want in life, whether that be money, fitness, happiness or career we have beliefs that affect all of these things.

Let me explain a little; as humans we are subjected to influences every second of our lives, these could be the influence of friends, parents, media (T.V, Newspapers, etc), events past and present.

Based on our interpretation of these events or influences we feel emotions and then attach meanings to the event, as these events are replayed instead of assessing them again based on their current context our subconscious will either delete, distort or generalise about the event.

This process doesn't allow us to identify differences between the events and so we begin to believe that we must feel or behave in a certain way every time a similar event occurs.

So you can see that over many years this could well become a belief so powerful that it stops us achieveing the things we really want.

Beliefs are based on past events and infuences, they are then strengthened by evidence provided as a result of the delete distort and generalise process....they can be changed
<img width='1' height='1'
